new year only just started.

today is monday. but today there is a climbing competition. it starts at 5 tonight. im rather excited to see how i do against all the other people who are in better shape than i am. not climbing all summer was a bit of a let down, but im right back into it.
lots of homework to do. im going to be pretty busy in this "meat and potatoes" semester. but with 18 credit hours, who wouldnt be busy?

alrighty.
two more exams till this semester is officially over. ive got a lot of packing/cleaning to do here around the appartment and im pretty excited to be into our new appartment. but since im going home for the summer, i wont get to make it feel very comfortable until next semester.

this past weekend was great. i sent (that means finished) my project out at darnell hollow and its now officially called "ferris beuler's day off" partialy due to the fact that ive skipped school a couple of times to go climb it. so i felt really complete and excited friday night needless to say. so i went out and got hammered. :D
then saturday i went for a road ride and then to cheat fest.
then sunday i went to coopers and then worked on some stuff for school.
i was really tired at the end of sunday but thats understandable because i spent a lot of time "exercising" and doing 12oz. repeat lifting sets. yep.

so for a couple more days im going to live up morgantown. and enjoy it while i can. because its back to dayton for the summer.

and by the way, anna paquin is damn cute.

at this point in the semester, everything gets really blurry. i have 56 of 100 drawings done. and they are due on thursday. i guess tomorrows going to be QUITE THE BUSY DAY. plust ive got a final, a class, slides to shoot, and a bar to get drunk at. i mean....so much to do in so little time. but anyways, the end is getting closer. which is exciting.

and if female is looking for a date, just let me know.

another weekend. crazy.
another weekend with nothing to do. sad.
but hey, i did laundry.

yesterday i got on my climbing project again. from here on out it will no longer be called my climbing project, but instead "Ferris Beuler's Day Off." (partialy because ive skipped class a couple of times to go climb on it.) i got SO close to finishing. i actually pulled the top and was 2/3 of the way over and slipped off. i guess its ment to be another day. but i know now that i can do it. its just a matter of keeping my head in it. im hoping to go out later this week and try again.

well, ive got about two and a half weeks of school left. its getting pretty close to being over for another semester. and though im getting that much closer to graduating, i do something stupid like....decide to double major.

:D

more time at school i guess. if it all works out, ill be here an extra year, so that would put me at 5.5 years in college. AWESOME!!! way to really procrastinate getting a real job in the real world. but i think id really enjoy doing that. plust it would open more doors for me in the future and it would be something else good to put on a resume.

alright so climbing. ive been working on this problem for quite some time. its an amazing line and it has great moves but the top out is realllly desperate. you can see it in the picture i posted on the 22nd just below here. its really round and slopey so theres just not much to stick to. i continue to get closer every time, and yet not send. soon enough i guess. it leaves me something to look forward to and think about every night when i fall asleep. i keep thinking this:
two side pulls
right foot on
left foot up
right hand to pinch
match
right foot to side cut
right hand to pocket
set up feet
trust feet
throw
and then stick

but thats all just thought right now. im just that close to getting it.
soon.
